Job Description:

1) Should know basic electrical calculations for:

a) Load List

b) Voltage drop & cable schedule calculation

c) Transformer sizing and calculation

d) Electrical panel sizing and calculation

e) UPS sizing & calculation

f) Lighting lux level calculation

g) Light Switch & Sockets calculation

h) Telephone and LAN out lets calculations

i) Calculation for Earthing and lightning arrester

j) Cable tray sizing

k) Low voltage system calculation

l) BMS system for HVAC

2) Should be capable to prepare over all Electrical BOQ and Costing for an individual projects.

3) Should be capable to prepare over all technical specifications of electrical components for an individual projects.

4) Should be capable to prepare SLD, wiring and Block diagram for an individual projects.

5) Should have good communication skill to communicate with clients, Vendors as well as internal department.

6) Should know the market rates for electrical components and vendor / OEM – This shall be added advantage.

Skills & Knowledge:

1. Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.

2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work well within a dynamic team environment with multiple deadlines.

3. Familiarity with electrical designs.

4. Shall have working knowledge of CAD software.

5. Combination of design and site work is an added advantage.

6. Knowledge of IEC codes and standards.
