Job Description:
- To prepare packing list, containerized packing list, detailed packing list, BL / AWB instructions, ECTN draft and labels.
- To prepare comparative sheets for freight, transportation, packer and clearing agent well before the shipment.
- To follow-up with the factory [CHA / shipping line/freight forwarder.
- To submit the instructions on the shipping line portal.
- To consolidate the materials from various vendors and plan the shipment.
- To save shipment related documents in their respective folders or in DMS system and maintain all original documents.
- To co-ordinate with the vendor for the pick-up of material post FAT clearance.
- To prepare the certificate of origin, GSP, VGM documents, and various other shipping documents.
- To follow up and prepare documents for SGS inspection and certification, which is mandatory for African ports.
- To arrange for the packing of courier mode samples, prepare the packing list and negotiate the courier mode freight charges.
- To prepare the E-Way bill draft as per the requirements.
- To co-ordinate with the insurance agent and ensure that the goods are insured before the sailing date of the vessels.
- To have knowledge about the complete logistics procedure right from start to end.
- To develop new transporters and wooden packers for cargo dispatch.
- To prepare various trackers and reports based on shipments, warehouse bills, and export documents.
- To upload all the approved files in DMS.

- Experience in preparing invoices will be an additional advantage.
