Job Description:

 

  1. To identify the project’s goals, objectives, and scope and follow the project schedule that outlines the tasks, timelines, and resources required for the given project.
  2. To oversee all the technical aspects of the project.
  3. To assign and monitor the work allotted to the site team (HVAC, electrical, utility, etc.).
  4. To understand all design documents and drawings related to site execution.
  5. To coordinate between the design and site teams.
  6. To complete the project as per the agreed budget and timelines.
  7. To ensure proper installation of HVAC, air compressor, water system, chiller, mechanical piping, plumbing, hot water generator, DG set, fire hydrant, ETP, MEE, cooling tower, utility equipment and piping, boilers, heat exchanger, formulation equipment, automated packing line, CCTV, access control, and FAS.
  8. To ensure verification of the BOQ along with material available on site by other team members.
  9. To highlight any variances, if any, to the project head.
  10. To check all the construction drawings with respect to site conditions.
  11. To highlight issues and problems, if any, to the project head.
  12. To coordinate with the design team for changes in construction drawings in alliance with the site project head.
  13. To ensure that work is not executed without approved construction drawings that suit to site.
  14. To organise proper utilities and working tools for the team members at the site.
  15. To appraise the team members on their daily work as per the work schedule.
  16. To take reports from the team members on the daily work and highlight issues related to deviation of work with respect to construction drawings. Explain to them possible corrections and the next action plan.
  17. To verify all the installations done by team members on a daily basis and make any necessary corrections, if any
  18. To help the team members identify the proper BOQ and daily material issues from stores.
  19. To ensure that the team members are working as per the quality standards and that the speed of work is as per the requirements.
  20. To follow all the working and safety protocols at the site as per requirements.
  21. To attend site meetings on a regular basis and appraise the project heads on the issues, possible resolutions, time schedule, etc.
  22. To ensure that a daily site report is prepared on the work done and track the same with the project plan.
  23. To report changes, if any, with proper explanations for delays or otherwise.
  24. To be responsible for the attendance of the workmen at site and ensure that they work as per the stipulated time.
  25. To prepare and get approval on the stage-wise work completion report wherever required from the client on a regular basis.

 

Skills and Knowledge:

  1. Should have knowledge of Auto-CAD, Pro-E, PDMS, MS-Project, and MS Office.
  2. Should have Project Management Qualification (PMP), Certified Associate and Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent experience as a project manager.
  3. Must have good coordination skills.
  4. Must have excellent team management abilities.
  5. Must have conflict resolution and leadership skills.
  6. Must have excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  7. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Should be familiar with cleanroom installation work (cleanroom modular partitions).
  9. Should be familiar with HVAC installation work and qualification activities.
  10. Should be familiar with general and hygienic utility work, including equipment and piping. Should be familiar with electrification works
